About the Event
An insect farm right in the heart of Singapore?! That's right, Insectta is Singapore's first black soldier fly farm located in the middle of Queenstown, Singapore - and we're bringing the farm experience to you, Easties!
As part of the Local Growers Market held by Sing See Soon, Simei, enjoy the hands-on experience and simulate what an insect farmer goes through daily with our interactive seminar. Learn more about the food waste crisis, how the black soldier fly is helping, and the future of urban agriculture as you touch, see, and smell with live insects within the walls of your classroom. There's a whole lot of buggy surprises waiting for you along the way.
This 1.5h on-site seminar is held at Sing See Soon Simei and is suitable for learners of all ages. Participants under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
