The team at Insectta is honoured to be recognised as one of five social impact champions of 2019 awarded the LOTUS-NUS Grant for social impact.
Our work on developing insect-derived biomaterials from black soldier flies is dedicated to creating a more sustainable future, where high-quality biomaterials used in applications like cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and medtech comes from sustainable and renewable sources.
A collaboration between Lotus Life Foundation and NUS Enterprise, the Lotus-NUS Fund awards S$25,000 to top promising NUS-affiliated social impact start-ups, to help them accelerate their business growth towards building a sustainable and scalable social venture.
